Care instructions for Les Bornées products

Perspiration

When we sweat, our bodies evacuate a whole host of things: toxins, antibodies, etc.

Technical fabrics are sensitive materials that can accumulate bacteria over time if not properly maintained.

To avoid this situation, we recommend rinsing your textiles directly after use, and not leaving them in damp, enclosed spaces. You can also use specialized detergents for sports textiles, which have disinfectant properties but are non-aggressive to fabrics.

Precautions for use

Creams, heating gels and other products contain chemicals or organic components that can accelerate fabric deterioration. Do not use them on your technical sportswear.

Fabric washing

Turn your garments inside out before washing (seams on the outside) and wash separately from your cotton and natural-fiber garments. Pay particular attention to zippers, hook-and-loop fasteners and other components that may alter the condition of your garments in the wash.

Be sure to wash your garments on a delicate cycle (30°c) and do not use fabric softener or bleach. We strongly recommend that you use specialized detergents for technical sports products.

To avoid friction and thebuild-up of bacteria, we recommend that you wash your fabrics promptly after use, and never soak, wring or rub them.

Fabric drying

Technical sports fabrics are not designed to be tumble-dried.

Dry in the shade, in a well-ventilated area. Drying technical garments in direct sunlight can damage fabrics and colors, as can humidity and unventilated spaces.

Pilling

Pilling is the result of friction between two fabrics or between a fabric and a rough surface. To avoid pilling, we recommend that you do not wash your technical garments with Velcro, zippers or any other component that may catch on the fabric.
