At Les Bornées we advocate inclusionThat’s why we strive to create a community for all levels, all practices and all generations. Men and women come together to practice their favorite sports and make new acquaintances.

In concrete terms, we offer an environment where we can support you in all aspects of your practice coaching, outings, training courses, competitions and even nutrition. All thanks to our network of affiliated partners.

Within the project you will see two brands appear:

– Les Bornées

– Smatchy

A personal story

Les Bornées began in 2017 when founder Maude Baudier signed up for theEtape du Tour 2018 and announced it on social networks proud of her participation.

A wave of wave of messages many of which were aimed at her as a woman.

“You know, a lot of men give up this ordeal so you…. “

The desire to share her preparation, to inspire women to take the plunge and to thumb her nose at her detractors was born. She would create a team of men and women taking the plunge together.

It was only after the event that twenty or so people got together for a Sunday outing in Paris and came up with the idea of creating a real community.

PROFESSIONAL FUN,

Sport in general is often associative (and it’s great to have so many great initiatives), but at Les Bornées we are a company and we’re proud of it.

Why?

Because being a company means that we aim to to recruit people who are paid for their services (and not volunteers), so we’re creating jobs in a field that many people are passionate about.

It also means supporting the local economybecause we try to produce as close to France as possible, and we create the vast majority of our experiments in France. French territory which is full of nuggets to be discovered.

Of course …

We don’t forget to keep a fresh, fun and ethical vision of sportThat’s why we’re constantly innovating to bring you things that will make you laugh, vibrate and sparkle alongside us.

Breathtaking locations

We’re breaking away from the habits of the sports world and creating what we would have liked to have had a few years ago: that is to say, an all-inclusive and extremely qualitative offer. all-inclusive and extremely high-quality on all our experiences.

The locations are chosen with precision and taste to offer you a unique setting in which you can concentrate solely on your sport and nothing else.

Gone are the days of traditional mobile-home campsites. we pamper you with a meticulously prepared program, meals cooked by chefs and coaches who are experts in their fields.

So yes, you won’t find what you’d find in a triathlon or cycling club, and that’s the whole point!

Want to try your hand at adventure?

And what about the men?

Les Bornées has always had people committed to its project, and has done so since the beginning of its history.

It wasn’t a marketing choice, a change of position along the way, but a real desire and mentality. a real desire and mentality established by Maude right from the start of the project.

“Why do to men what has been blamed on them for so many years? “

We advocate inclusion and diversity and we’re proud to say that 60% of our community is female but that there are also 40% men working alongside us.

Who's the founder?

Maude is a woman of her generationShe’s a woman of her generation, in her thirties, passionate about sport and innovation, and deeply feminist. She can’t stand injustice and always tries to find solutions to problems. We call her “Problem Solver.

A business school graduate with a wealth of experience in the past, both in luxury houses and in start-ups with some very fine positions, it’s in entrepreneurship that she feels most fulfilled. most fulfilled and that’s why she’s agreed to be paid almost nothing, to give the Les Bornées project a chance to grow.

A woman who dares to speak her mind, who excels in the face of adversity, she loves to give of her time to move causes that are close to her heart, particularly women’s entrepreneurship.

Athletically, she is a former rider who took up running in 2015 and then became interested in cycling in 2017. Once she’d completed the flagship distances (Marathon and Etape du Tour), she set herself the challenge of completing an Ironman in 2019 and learnt to swim the crawl in 1 year. Like we said, she loves a challenge!

An excellent speaker, she gives lecturesbusiness schools (her livelihood) and takes part in TV shows.
