The founder
Maude Baudier

Maude Baudier

A former horse rider turned triathlete (Ironman finisher), Maude Baudier launched Les Bornées in 2018 after a wave of sexist remarks when she announced she would take part in the Étape du Tour. From that personal challenge a collective was born: first a handful of enthusiasts, today an active community across some twenty towns.

Her conviction has stayed intact: no one should have to do sport alone, and every woman has her place in the peloton. She also founded Smatchy, the app for finding a sports partner.
